Give the most valuable Easter gift: help Irina and other disabled children in Romania lead a better life.

On a road of a village in Bacău County, up on a hill, there is a small and scanty house. Here lives Irina, a girl diagnosed with a long list of serious conditions. Her mother also passed away a couple of years.

Irina attends school while being helped by her sister, Bianca. When Irina says she doesn’t know a letter, Bianca guides her hand with hers to make it, so that she may learn.

The most difficult period for the family was when the children were separated from their father. they lived for a while in an emergency home, but all they wanted throughout that time was to face the difficulties at home, alongside their father.

The community nurse is a reliable support for this tormented family, within the team of community workers. Through the assistance of community teams, Irina and other children like her receive access to specialized social, medical, and educational services, provided at a local level.

Irina and other children like her need long-term help to be healthy, to receive psychological counseling, in order to be able to continue school.

With the support of the community team, vulnerable children have access to specialized local social, medical, and educational services.
