Isaac, in Syria, has already made good improvements in his social abilities and communication skills. In Yemen, Ali who is also 11 years old, spent six months on the frontline and then two months in a prison before being released into an interim care centre supported by UNICEF. He is receiving psychological care and education support with other children. “We left our weapons and now we hold pens” he says.
This is what being protected means: having a safe space to be a child again, receiving the psychological support needed to overcome trauma, remain in the company of caring adults and fellow children.
You can help protecting boys and girls from violence and abuse. It will only take less than one minute of your time and it will make a huge impact in their lives, forever.
Please make a donation today and help to bring protection to children who desperately need it.
