What?

The largest vaccine procurement and supply operation ever is underway – and UNICEF is leading delivery on behalf of the Global COVAX Facility. Together we can ensure that 2 billion doses of the COVID-19 vaccine are delivered to more than 100 countries by the end of 2021.

How?

Vaccinating the world against COVID-19 will be the largest vaccine procurement and supply operation in history. UNICEF and partners, with generous support from our donors, are working around the clock to ensure that no country is left behind. We are readying supply chains, training healthcare workers and ensuring that good, evidence information is available to local communities. UNICEF can do this with your support.

When?

Right now UNICEF is on the ground delivering millions of vaccines around the world. At the same time, we are preparing teams in countries for a dramatic increase in supply of vaccines doses during the second half of 2021. We are already on the ground in more than 100 countries, readying teams of cold-chain experts and healthcare workers who are poised to support this historic vaccine roll out. UNICEF and our partners won’t stop, but we need you to Join the Race to End COVID-19 and deliver vaccines to the people who need them most, as quickly as we can.

Why UNICEF?

In any given year, UNICEF vaccinates more than 2 billion children under the age of 5. Our systems are built for this. Our teams are ready. We know how to get vaccines to the hardest to reach places. That’s why UNICEF have been named the key delivery partner in the COVAX Facility.
