Our phones ping non-stop with devastating and heartbreaking news.

Children are among the most affected — facing injury, trauma, and separation from loved ones.

War. Drought. Floods. Hunger. Every day there’s a new crisis for children around the world: Lebanon, Yemen, Gaza, Afghanistan, Ukraine, Syria, South Sudan, DRC, Haiti and so many more.

These children have nowhere to call home, no food to eat, no school to attend and no doctor to turn to when sick. This is the harsh reality of children in crisis. But then the news agenda shifts, the cameras stop rolling and the world starts to turn its attention elsewhere. And these children continue to stay in crisis.

So does UNICEF — to deliver lifesaving supplies, services and care that these children desperately need.

Will you stay for children in crises?

Please make a donation today. Please stay to help provide vital healthcare, to vaccinate and educate, to keep children safe and help them recover, to bring smiles and hope!

Help children stay in the game
 Za’atari Camp

Anwar has grown up in Jordan’s Za’atari Camp, where many children need safe spaces to learn, play, and belong.  At a UNICEF-supported Makani centre, he gets learning support, builds confidence, and finds joy on the football pitch.

Your support helps children like Anwar keep learning, growing, and dreaming.

Help make the save when every second counts
Sanad

Sanad was only 4 months old when he was severely malnourished.
With timely care at a UNICEF-supported therapeutic feeding centre in Yemen, he recovered.
Your support helps children like Sanad get life-saving nutrition and health care when it matters most.

Help bring safe water onto home ground
Somalia

In places like Somalia, children and families may travel long distances to find safe water.
UNICEF helps bring safe water closer to communities, so children have more time to learn, play, and grow.
Your support helps children access a basic need, closer to home.

Famine Gaza

Two-year-old Yazan, severely malnourished, lives in the Shati (Beach) refugee camp in Gaza City. His mother, Naima, says, “We have not had flour or any food assistance for two months.” Yazan sits on a torn piece of foam, his wide eyes heavy with exhaustion, his thin body clearly showing signs of acute hunger. Malnutrition has spread rapidly among children in the Gaza Strip, with rates in Gaza City rising fourfold since February.

"We have not had flour or any food assistance for two months."

– Naima, mother of 2-year-old Yazan

Famine is a grim reality. Children like Yazan, already suffering from severe malnutrition, are on the brink of starvation. Parents are skipping meals just to feed their children.

Your donation today can immediately deliver:

  • Lifesaving therapeutic food (RUTF) for malnourished children
  • Clean drinking water to prevent disease
  • Urgent medical supplies

Children caught in escalating violence in Lebanon
UNICEF Lebanon is delivering critical aid and support in Lebanon following the recent escalation of hostilities

As violence intensifies across Lebanon, children and families are once again bearing the heaviest burden. Ongoing airstrikes and ground clashes across multiple regions have forced over 1.1 million people—nearly 390,000 of them children—to flee their homes, often with no time to prepare or gather essential belongings. Hundreds of shelters, many in public schools, are now overcrowded, leaving families in urgent need of basic supplies, healthcare, safe water and psychosocial support. With more than 1,268 lives lost and thousands injured, including many children, this crisis is unfolding on top of years of instability that have already deeply affected communities. In response, UNICEF is working alongside national authorities and partners to scale up life-saving support, providing essential items, access to healthcare, clean water and sanitation, and ensuring that children continue to receive education and protection. Despite the immense challenges, UNICEF remains committed to reaching every child and family in need with critical care and support during this emergency.

UNICEF is delivering medical supplies to hospitals and health facilities, including incubators and supplies for newborns and kits for midwives. On Dec. 29, UNICEF delivered 600,000 doses of routine vaccinations to southern Gaza, providing a crucial lifeline for children.

Supplies

UNICEF trucks brought critical supplies including 10,800 family hygiene kits, water tanks and collapsible tanks for 2,500 people, 577,500 sanitary pads, 69,960 bottles of ready-to-use formula for 500 infants, various medical kits and supplementary foods for 55,000 people.

Nutrition

UNICEF has been delivering a range of essential nutrition supplies including, amongst other essentials, high energy biscuits for young children and micronutrient supplementation for children and pregnant and breastfeeding women. UNICEF is also working with partners to conduct screenings in shelters and healthcare facilities for acute malnutrition.

WHY DONATE MONTHLY?

Rescuing a child is the first step. Healing them is the next.

The effects of famine are devastating and last long after the fighting pauses. Your monthly gift provides the steady, reliable care children need to fully recover.

Completes Their Treatment: A single gift sends food, but a monthly gift ensures a child gets the full 6-8 week course of therapeutic food they need to heal from severe malnutrition.

Protects Their Future: Your predictable support provides the ongoing medical care and clean water that protects their fragile immune system from disease, allowing them to truly recover.

Rebuilds Lives & Hope: Beyond immediate survival, your consistent support helps UNICEF provide critical psychosocial support and access to education, offering children a path towards a life beyond crisis.
