Now is the time!
Right now, too many children around the world are facing some of the toughest challenges of their lives.
- Famine is confirmed in many areas of Sudan— children are facing extreme hunger
- War in Gaza and Ukraine have destroyed lives, homes and families
- Millions of children do not have access to clean water— putting their lives at risk to diseases like cholera and typhoid.
These are not future problems. This is happening now.
The moment to act to save and protect children’s lives is NOW.
With your support UNICEF will continue to deliver lifesaving supplies, services and care for these children.
Every child matters. Every action makes a difference.
Are you going to join us and help save children’s lives?
Qusay, fled his home in northern Gaza, hoping to return one day and ride his bicycle again. But after the ceasefire, there was nothing left.
UNICEF is on the ground, providing lifesaving aid, cash assistance, and rebuilding essential infrastructure. But the need remains immense.
When children like Qusay lose everything, who will help rebuild their lives?
In drought-hit Ethiopia, children like Bill are forced to drink unsafe water, risking deadly diseases like cholera.
UNICEF is building sustainable deep boreholes for vulnerable communities to ensure safe water and protecting children from waterborne diseases.
But more children need this life-saving solution. Will you help?
Your donation is a refusal to be a bystander while children suffer
It’s a decision to act on your values, to choose unity over division, to be part of the solution, and to bring hope where there is none.
We cannot accept a world where children are left to suffer. But we can build a world where they are protected, nourished, and given the chance to thrive.
Because when an 'individual/I' takes a step to change things, the 'collective/WE' is a force for good for children.

Our vision is a world fit for each and every child. Your support can help us achieve this vision and have a lasting impact on the lives of children in Kyrgyzstan around the world.
Since 1994, UNICEF has been working to improve the well-being of children and families in Kyrgyzstan. We support and strengthen national systems to ensure that every child, including children and adolescents with disabilities, survives, thrives, learns, and lives in a safe environment free from violence and poverty.
Our work is guided by the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC), an international human rights treaty that sets out the civil, political, economic, social, health and cultural rights of children. Kyrgyzstan ratified the CRC in 1994.
UNICEF’s new Country Programme for the period 2023-2027 focuses on reaching the most disadvantaged children. UNICEF works in close partnership with the Government of Kyrgyzstan to strengthen social policies and systems, while also working on the ground to ensure that these systems effectively reach all children, with a particular emphasis on the most vulnerable. This collaboration spans key areas such as child protection, education and the development of adolescents, health, nutrition, and the promotion of a climate-resilient environment. Across all these sectors, UNICEF integrates cross-cutting priorities including disability inclusion, gender equality, and the rights and needs of children with disabilities. Through this comprehensive approach, UNICEF supports the Government in building inclusive, equitable, and sustainable systems that uphold the rights and well-being of every child in Kyrgyzstan.

When you donate to UNICEF, you support work that improves the lives of children and adolescents in Kyrgyzstan and around the world. Every contribution is welcome – whether it is a one-time or monthly gift. But when you sign up to become a monthly donor, your contribution has a bigger impact, and it supports UNICEF’s pooled emergency-response fund for the many countries where we work. It means that we are always ready to act when a crisis strikes anywhere around the globe.

A monthly gift is a recurring amount you choose to send each month. It has even more impact than a one-off donation because you are helping children every day.
Your monthly gift also enables us to plan effectively for our upcoming work, reduce costs, and, most importantly, reach even more children in need. We couldn’t continue our efforts without the support and generosity of monthly donors, and we hope you’ll consider joining this part of the UNICEF family.
