Give your sadaqah to help save the lives of malnourished children in Afghanistan, Yemen, Syria and many other parts of the world

Aseel, a severely malnourished 2-year-old in Yemen, has been suffering from severe acute malnutrition since he was 2 months old. Aseel received treatment in a hospital supported by UNICEF and started to gain weight after 4-months. His fight against malnutrition continues, and the memory of his hunger still lives on with his family. In countries like Yemen and Afghanistan, the malnutrition rates are soaring, but the support of generous donors like you this Eid season will help bring hope.

Without treatment, severe acute malnutrition can be fatal

Give in the spirit of Eid Al Adha

Around the world, Muslim communities are coming together in preparation for Eid Al Adha through prayer and family bonding. But too many children like Aseel and their families are unable to have a proper meal this Eid. This holy celebration, your Sadaqah will help UNICEF provide lifesaving and critical supplies like therapeutic food, access to water, and much more to children in need in Yemen, Syria, Afghanistan and many other parts of the world.

In 2021, with support from individual donors like you, UNICEF helped 3.1 million children fight malnutrition in Yemen alone.

But we can't do any of this without your support.

Give your Sadaqah to give a better future to the most vulnerable children. There is no better way to greet the upcoming Eid than doing good in the world. Show your generosity and welcome this Eid Al Adha season with good deeds.

Your Sadaqah will make a big difference as the world prepares for Eid

With UNICEF, your gift will reach them with the therapeutic food that they need to survive and thrive.

Your urgent Eid gift will reach vulnerable children with the therapeutic food and water services that they need to survive and thrive. UNICEF is the largest provider of ready-to-use therapeutic food (RUTF) in the world. It is a sweet, peanut-based nutrient-enriched past that is effective in treating malnutrition among children. 3 packets a day for 8 weeks can save the life of a child with severe acute malnutrition.

In Afghanistan, your Sadaqah will reach families with the cash assistance they need to survive and thrive. Helping the most vulnerable families to meet their basic needs is our goal in 4 provinces in Afghanistan. Every month, each household receives a lifeline of $80 to buy food, clothes and medicines for their children

In Yemen, your Sadaqah can help to provide water and sanitation services to displaced populations and schools. Your support can bring assistance in the form of water points and communal water tanks, latrines, hygiene kits and household water treatment tablets.

Donate to UNICEF this Eid Al Adha and help us reach children like Aseel, Fatima, Ghosson, and Sajeed.

There is no better time for your good deeds than the Eid season.

Fatima, child with malnutrition in Yemen

Like many other children under 5, Fatima arrived in a hospital in Yemen suffering from severe dehydration and malnutrition. This resulted in kidney failure, and she was quickly put on a treatment programme where she is now recovering.

Gosson, child in Yemen with malnutrition

Ghosson is one of the many children in Yemen who have been affected by malnutrition. She was referred to a hospital and started treatment with therapeutic food. Once her health improved, she was back home, where she could finally eat regular food with her mother’s help.

Sajeed, child in Afghanistan

The situation has become dire in Afghanistan, with many families falling into poverty. Cash assistance is being distributed by UNICEF to help vulnerable families like Sajeed’s. This money will help them meet critical needs like food this Eid Al Adha.
