Help us save, protect and nurture the life of millions of children facing some of the biggest challenges of their lives

In times of conflict, children suffer the most.

We’ve all witnessed the devastating consequences of the Ukraine war on children’s lives. In the blink of an eye, the lives of millions of children and their families dramatically changed, with injury, homelessness, hunger, thirst and fear replacing their daily reality.

When a disaster strikes UNICEF is on the ground ready to deliver life-saving supplies and services to children, and we can only do this with the regular support of donors like you.

How we are helping children affected by the Ukraine war

UNICEF and partners are working tirelessly to save the lives of children and their families in Ukraine. We are reaching more children with educational supplies, psychological and psychosocial support, as well as basics and medicines in the most affected regions. UNICEF also provides cash assistance and warm clothing to families in difficult circumstances. Help UNICEF provide children and families with the urgent care and support they need to survive this crisis.

1 year of ukraine war and UNICEF's work

Wars, disasters, hunger crisis and diseases are putting children's lives at risk

As we speak, many crises are impacting children’s lives around the world. Among them, the recent earthquake that hit Türkiye and Syria on Feb 6th, killing thousands of people, including children, and leaving more children injured and in need of health care, life-saving supplies and protection. Prolonged conflict and economic downturn in countries like Afghanistan, Syria and Yemen, putting children’s lives at risk. And the huge hunger crisis affecting children across the Horn of Africa. UNICEF is on the ground delivering critical, life-saving supplies and services to children and their families around the world. And we are able to do this only because we have the support of our monthly donors.

Why a monthly donation?

Monthly donations help us strengthen UNICEF’s presence in countries before, during and after emergencies and give UNICEF the resources to plan ahead, prepare and take actions to mitigate the impact of crises as they develop.

Like the devastating earthquake that recently hit Türkiye and Syria and the worldwide malnutrition crisis currently putting 8 million children under 5 at risk of dying from hunger. Thanks to monthly donations, UNICEF is working to scale up its efforts to provide for maternal and child nutrition, invest in early detection of children affected by severe wasting and distribute ready-to-use therapeutic food in 15 countries around the world and avert an explosion of child deaths.

Your impact

Together, we can help the world’s most vulnerable children have the best possible hope for their future. Your monthly gift can make sure children in need have access to vital services including healthcare, education, nutritious food and safe water.

No child should have to live through war. No child should suffer hunger. In desperate times and in their aftermath, you can be there for children. Wherever they are.
