Join us in protecting the health of every child in Kenya

The Challenge:  In Kenya, around 1.5 million children aged below five years are stunted (low height for age due to chronic undernutrition). Stunted children tend to achieve lower grades.

The Solution:  Meet Analia, a two-year old girl from Kakuma Refugee Camp, Turkana.  She became alarmingly frail from diarrhea and lost significant weight before her mother rushed her to the nearest hospital. With ready-to-use therapeutic food and treatment, hope was restored as Analia began to gain weight and recover. Now Analia is able to smile and play. Every child deserves this chance. Donate now and help us reach more children like Analia before it's too late.

You have the power to bring hope to Kenya’s most vulnerable children.

Every child deserves a healthy start in life. Your support can help combat malnutrition by providing life-saving nutrition and healthcare to thousands of children.

Be the change. Help build a healthier, brighter future for children in need

Every donation, no matter the amount, plays a vital role in helping us continue this critical work and ensures that we can reach even more children in need. Your generosity and support allow us to remain focused on giving every child the opportunity to survive and thrive, enabling us to continue to:

Help reduce child stunting further from 26% in 2014 to 18% in 2022 through improved nutrition programs for children and access to fortified foods.
Support the treatment of severe acute malnutrition in children below five years old.
Help expand community-based services, early detection, and preventive care to avoid severe acute malnutrition in children.

Together, we can end child malnutrition. For Every Child. The time to act is now — because children are the future.

We’ve joined forces with the civil society, businesses, academia, and the government, but without your support, we can't reach every child in need.

No donation is too small, and any donation can help save children's lives.

You choose for how long you wish to donate: monthly or only once. In order to contribute to a fundamental change in the lives of vulnerable children, the longer you choose to get involved, the more powerful your donation will be. Vulnerable children’s lives can improve if you are a part of and contribute to the work that we are doing, and to the solutions that we are providing. By donating, you become an active part of the solution and change process.

A monthly donation is a recurring gift amount that you choose to send each month, and it is even more impactful, as this means that you'll be helping children every single day.

Your monthly gift will also enable us to plan effectively in our upcoming work, reduce costs and most importantly, reach even more children in need. The support and generosity of monthly donors contribute significantly to UNICEF's efforts to help vulnerable children.

Your donation is used to support UNICEF's programmes for children in need in Kenya.

UNICEF encourages monthly donations to help us deliver sustainable, long-term solutions for children both in the region and globally.
