Help Feed A Child's Future

Since 1990, the percentage of malnourished children has been reduced by half, but there is still much work to be done. Today, the lives of more than 200 million children are at risk due to causes related to malnutrition.

1 in 3 children in the world suffer from malnutrition.

A lack of food and nutrients directly affects the growth of children, causing irreversible damage to their bodies and brains. This directly impacts their development and deprives them of the opportunity to have a healthy and happy life in the future.

The effects of climate change are already overwhelming communities in countries, including Madagascar. People are suffering the worst drought in years and feel the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic deeply, which has destroyed livelihoods and created a major food and nutrition emergency for children.

This crisis has left more than 1.1 million people food-insecure and 500,000 children under five years old are projected to be malnourished by April 2022.

Around the world however, six children will loose their lives every minute due to severe malnutrition.

Millions more live with the effects of malnutrition for the rest of their lives because their bodies and brains have not developed as they could.

Act now to help these children.

Aissata was admitted to a community health center in downtown Mopti, central Mali. Aissata was suffering from acute malnutrition so sever that she stopped moving, but a therapeutic food treatment programme brought her back from the brink. “After the treatment had started, Aissata started looking more alive” says her mother Amissatou, “She was starting to move around again, she even wanted to play again”.

Millions of children like Aissata around the world are suffering from chronic malnutrition and need your help. Please, donate now and help provide life-saving therapeutic food to save children’s lives.
