Ștefan's father had to move to Germany to support his family financially. Left alone at home with his mother and siblings, Ștefan' had to take responsibility for some household chores.
But Mrs. Nela, a social worker at the town hall, has stepped in to help him and his family, providing support so the children can continue going to school. Ms. Nela helped her to get all the paperwork for allowances and entitlements for the children and the family done on time. She talks to Ștefan and his siblings about what jobs they could choose and where to apply. She's always explaining why education is important, giving them suggestions for hobbies and sometimes advice on how to treat each other.
