The COVID-19 crisis is a child rights crisis. The costs of the pandemic for children are immediate and, if unaddressed, may persist throughout their lives.

Without immediate funding and key lifesaving interventions, an additional 6,000 children could die globally everyday over the next six months as the COVID-19 pandemic continues to weaken health systems and disrupt routine services.

Together we can Reimagine a better world, for every child.

Together, we can prevent the COVID-19 pandemic from becoming a lasting crisis for children, especially the most vulnerable. We must take this opportunity to invest in their futures and build back better and greener.

This also means listening to children and young people, working along side them to design a better future.

It is our shared responsibility, today, to Reimagine what the world will look like tomorrow. For that, we need everyone’s ideas, resources, creativity and heart.

UNICEF India is working with the Government of India to help reduce the impact and spread of the Coronavirus in India.

We are providing Personal Protective Equipment to protect frontline workers, hygiene kits to high risk populations, building touchless water stations. providing essential supplies to migrants travelling home and other life saving supplies.

UNICEF continues to adapt and work hard to help ensure that every child in India grows up healthy during these challenging times. The Coronavirus is impacting and changing the way we work on the ground here in India everyday across our work in Child Survival, Health, Nutrition, Education, and Child Protection.

Your ongoing support will help ensure that every child survives and thrives in every situation.

Help communities RECOVER

COVID-19 isn’t just attacking under-resourced fragile health systems, it’s attacking the way children access education, the way their families earn an income to cover their needs, and how safe they feel in their homes, communities and countries. This is a child right’s crisis. Right now, UNICEF staff is on the ground doing everything in our power to ensure that children don't feel the impact of this crisis for decades to come.

Help us REIMAGINE a world that is fit for every child

For more than 70 years, UNICEF has responded to some of the biggest crises our world has faced. We’ve been on the front lines of every pandemic, epidemic, famine and conflict since World War II. We have the experience, tools and partners to not only help communities recover, but also to help them build back better. History shows we can do it.
