In 2015, in a small district hospital in Telangana, a baby girl was born - Rishita. She was admitted to a Special Newborn Care Unit immediately after birth.
At that time, she was the smallest recorded baby born in India, weighing only 650 grams.

Only Dr. Yadaiah and his medical staff believed she could survive. They kept her warm and played sounds to mimic a mother's womb.

With each passing day, she was growing stronger and gaining weight. The doctors and her family were becoming hopeful.

Rishita survived.
Today she is almost three and living happily with her mother and father.
