OVER 700,000 CHILDREN AFFECTED AFTER HURRICANE MELISSA SLAMS THE CARIBBEAN. ACT NOW.

Help children in Jamaica recover after the hurricane

When a hurricane hits, thousands of children lose everything within hours — their homes, their schools, and access to safe water, food, and medical care.

UNICEF is there from the very first moment, providing life-saving assistance.

We deliver safe water, hygiene kits, medical supplies, and educational materials so families can begin to rebuild their lives. We also support children who have gone through traumatic experiences by offering safe spaces where they can play, learn, and feel protected again.

Emergencias - Huracan

“Being prepared saves lives. Strengthening response capacity is essential to protect childhood.”
— Roberto Benes, UNICEF Regional Director for Latin America and the Caribbean.

Emergencias - Donar

During the last decade, nearly 4 million children in Latin America and the Caribbean have been affected each year by natural disasters. In 2025, UNICEF needs USD 19 million to boost emergency preparedness in the region — including Jamaica — and ensure every child is protected.

💙 With your donation, UNICEF can deliver immediate aid to children affected by the hurricane.
