Children and families take shelter in evacuation centers days after Super Typhoon Pepito (International name: Man-yi) hit Catanduanes, Philippines.
In less than a month, six powerful tropical cyclones have displaced over 1.3 million children, leaving countless families without a home.
Children are left without clean water, proper sanitation, or access to basic health care. Schools are destroyed or being used as evacuation centers, leaving20 million learners without the stability of a classroom.
Flooded communities remain at risk of deadly disease outbreaks. These children and families are not just fighting the aftermath of such disasters—they are on the frontlines of the climate crisis.
These children and families need someone who won’t give up on them—someone like you. Act now.

UNICEF and its partners are on the ground distributing hygiene kits and water kits to children and families in the hardest hit communities in different regions.
How UNICEF is Helping:
UNICEF has been on the ground delivering critical aid and partnering with the government and local organizations to reach the hardest-hit areas:
- Emergency preparedness: Mobilizing pre-positioned supplies to reach an additional 12,500 families quickly.
- Clean water and hygiene kits to families in the most affected areas of Camarines Sur and Albay.
- Education Supplies: School-in-a-Box kits and materials have reached 14,000 learners and 700 teachers in 25 schools and five community centers, helping children continue learning despite the devastating impact of this crisis.
But the work is far from over. The scale of the crisis is overwhelming, and we can’t do this without you.
