Now is the time!
Right now, too many children around the world are facing some of the toughest challenges of their lives.
- Famine is confirmed in many areas of Sudan— children are facing extreme hunger
- In the eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), escalating violence has displaced over 658,000 people in just three months, including 282,000 children at risk, contributing to a wider crisis where more than 3 million children urgently need help
- War in Gaza and Ukraine have destroyed lives, homes and families
- Millions of children do not have access to clean water— putting their lives at risk to diseases like cholera and typhoid.
These are not future problems. This is happening now.
The moment to act to save and protect children’s lives is NOW.
With your support UNICEF will continue to deliver lifesaving supplies, services and care for these children.
Every child matters. Every action makes a difference.

UNICEF psychologist Etienne Yuma talks with Faraja’s mother Amani in the neonatal unit at the Virunga General Referral Hospital in Goma, North Kivu province, DRC, on January 31, 2025:
"There were two babies in the incubator, but the bullet hit my child. My child is still receiving care, but I’m afraid this could happen again. We need peace!" - says Amani, a mother from Goma, North Kivu province, DRC.
Nothing can describe the pain and helplessness a mother feels knowing she can’t provide her children with something as basic and essential as milk, food and safety.
Unfortunately, mothers in conflict-torn areas like DRC are all too familiar with this feeling as they struggle daily to feed their children.
Who is going to protect the most vulnerable? Please say, YES, I AM.
Three Children, Three Crises, One Solution: You

Your donation is a refusal to be a bystander while children suffer
It’s a decision to act on your values, to choose unity over division, to be part of the solution, and to bring hope where there is none.
We cannot accept a world where children are left to suffer. But we can build a world where they are protected, nourished, and given the chance to thrive.
Because when an 'individual/I' takes a step to change things, the 'collective/WE' is a force for good for children.
Yes! I AM
Yes! WE ARE
For Every Child
Last year UNICEF responded to more than 400 crises around the world:
Our ability to reach any part of the world with urgent relief – including medical supplies, shelter, life-saving therapeutic food, safe water, and vaccines– is a testament to our collective commitment to every child in need.
When you give to UNICEF, you will be there for children in need by helping us:
- Pre-position supplies in regions prone to emergencies due to climate or political sensitivities.
- Prepare in advance and ensure the availability of funds for long-term solutions that will positively impact children.
- Address the immediate and long-term needs of children by providing safe environments for play, learning, and medical assistance during and after the crisis.
But we can’t do it alone. We need your help to always be there for every child, whenever and wherever they’re in need.
