“Some of the moments I’m most proud of have been through my work with UNICEF—shining a light on the challenges facing children—boys and girls—around the world.”

– David Beckham

For 20 years, David Beckham has stood with UNICEF and is now celebrating his 50th birthday with a fundraiser for children— join in.

Today, there are more children in need and at risk than at any time in recent history and it is always the most vulnerable children who face the biggest challenges – especially girls.

More children are in the conflict zones since the Second World War, displaced from their homes, and facing hunger and disease.

Girls are still twice as likely as boys to lack access to education and employment and are at the greatest risk of gender-based violence, HIV, maternal mortality and many other issues.

But together, we can give them hope.

With your support, UNICEF can continue delivering life-saving aid to children who need it most.

Celebrate with David Beckham.
Give children the chance to survive and thrive.

Right now, too many children around the world are facing the toughest challenges of their lives — like:

Child in Yemen - struggling with malnutrition

6-month-old Kiara, fighting malnutrition in Yemen

In Yemen, ongoing conflict has pushed millions of children into severe malnutrition. Children like Kiara are struggling to survive without the food they need.

Qusay

10-year-old Qusay, displaced by war in the Gaza Strip

Qusay fled his home in northern Gaza, hoping to one day ride his bicycle again. After the ceasefire, his neighborhood was reduced to rubble, leaving him with nothing.

12-year-old Shaima, living without safe water.

“We bathed our children once a week, drank and cooked with dirty water. Our children were sick, our barrels empty, and they spent hours searching for water instead of attending school.”

6-year-old Poe

6-year-old Poe, displaced by the devastating earthquake in Myanmar

Days after the 7.7 magnitude earthquake in Myanmar on March 28, 2025, 6-year-old Poe stands before a collapsed wall in Mandalay. Children like Poe need urgent support to recover and rebuild.

The challenges children face today are immense—but so is our opportunity to make a difference. Whether you give big or small, your support can help save lives, protect futures, and bring hope to children who need it most.
